I did the process, it has to be restarted 2 times and it only did it once. The cell phone asked me the pattern to start, I put it and it says that it is invalid. Did I do something wrong? Do I have to put the original firmware? regards
You probably have a newer firmware version than the version described in post #1....
Read the last couple of posts here, and you'll find out that this root method is kinda out-dated.

Apparently it was my mistake. I put another original rom (v2018) and now it works! Is it recommended that I update TWRP and Super Su?

Some more info...

First of all, thank you for placing this post. The quick root methods like Framaroot, Kingo App and KingRoot do not work on the SM-G532F/M/G.

Everything worked, except for the part where ADB Sideload ran to install SU.zip.
I got the message "Device not found" and when I ran Root Checker Pro, it said root was not properly installed - which is obvious without SU.

This was my solution (Under Windows 7 Ultimate):
1. I searched (WINKEY + F) for 'SU.ZIP' and found it under 'USERS\%MY NAME%\APPDATA\LOCAL...'. You may have to enable 'Show hidden files and folders' to find it. Do this from Windows Explorer (WINKEY + E), press ALT, select TOOLS | FOLDER OPTIONS. Select the VIEW tab, then choose radio button 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' and select OK.

2. Copied this 'SU.ZIP' file to my device's SD Card root folder via USB connection.

3. Shut down my phone and rebooted into TWRP (VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER).

4. Tapped INSTALL in TWRP and found the 'SU.ZIP' file and installed it.

5. Restarted the phone and ran Root Checker Pro again.... VOILA!!

I hope this can be of some help to someone.

Wayne.

The method is obsolete.
It's a simple case of flashing Magisk or supersu with twrp.

Thanks hernankano for the super easy steps,
but it seems that I rooted my G532F with your G532M root file/method. however the problem is that i get this message everytime my device boots (set warranty bit = kernel (0))
I feel something wrong happened in here.
Any advise?

Dont use it. Block my phone. Now is asking me a password to enter to my phone.

Read the thread this method is seriously outdated, at least the last few posts!

ashyx,

How can I get into contact with you to determine what method could be used on a device to obtain root?

I've been told that you might be able to help me obtain root on a device.
You've seemed to have rooted the same type of device under a different carrier (edit: the same device under three different carriers, you've got rooted.).
The device boots into permissive mode. I'm just not sure how I could "make it work" so to say or how to follow your footsteps and port it to the other carrier.

When you get a chance, could you message me or I could point you in the direction of what we have achieved so far.

(I understand time is not something we all have these days so I am willing to assist you in return for your time.)

    Success!

    Now I understanded and followed the instructions from @hernankano and @TheRisingDragon.

    So basically to root the phone:

    -First: Make Sure to have the old Firmware Installed-
    1°-Download ODIN3
    2°-Download the respective firmware of your phone, that is here.
    3°- Flash the files on the firmware zip that you download on ODIN
    -AP -> AP
    -CSC -> CSC
    -BL -> BL
    -CP -> CP
    4°- Turn off your Phone and put it on Download Mode (Vol Down + Home + Power)
    5°- Once ODIN detects it, Flash the Firmware,
    6°- Now YOU CAN do the rooting process.
    -Second: ROOT the phone following the video on the original post-

    Troubleshoot and Known Issues:
    1°-Phone ask for password after the Rooting Process.
    Cause 1: Rooted with the wrong firmware (New Firmware)
    Cause 2: Unknown.
    Solution: Try to Wipe Data/Cache using the Recovery Mode (Vol UP + Home + Power), if that causes a bootloop then it's becuase you're using the wrong firmware.

    2°-Bootloop After Wiping Data and Cache.

    Cause: Rooted with the wrong firmware (New Firmware)
    Solution: Flash the firmware provided in the original post. If you don't know how tho flas a Firmware, follow the instructions provided at the begining of this post.

    Thanks for the Help @hernankano and @TheRisingDragon

    Do not worry is normal, it is because the boot file that flashed, this does not affect the use of the phone
