Does anyone have an alternative site to download the i467 firmware from (Step 1 of the rooting directions)? The rapidgator site doesn't allow free downloads over 500 and it won't take payment either...
PM 500GHZ, the link s/he has is good. Just remove the .md5 extension from the CSC file after extracting and follow the rest of the instructions in the OP. I also uninstalled Kies (not the drivers), though I'm not sure if this is necessary.

That's odd I don't remember doing that but I guess anything is possible.
Just and FYI everyone before Hotfile went down I was going to download this but it was taking too long because I do not have prem
There was an option to have it moved to pCloud some new cloud service that I have not used except for this
The file that I am sending is exactly the same one as was originally available on hotfile I also downloaded it from pCloud with Jdownloader with 20 connections and it took about 1/10000th of the time it would have taken with hotfile.

I have also upgraded to UCAMF2 using the survival mode in superSU the root is still working for me

I will host link to sgh I467 firmware file

If I can ever get hold of this file I will host it as torrent and link here. I have a seedbox with unlimited download speeds. I can't find the file anywhere though. I have pm'd the other user that has a link, maybe I will hear back soon.

I don't have a link to the mf1 PRE ROOT file you are requesting... but the one in the op still worked fine for me. I just tried it again and the dl started ok... maybe try a different Web browser?

If you still can't get it to dl, report back and we can find a way to post it elsewhere for you.

You have to select the proper file for the proper field. You will select all 4 then flash. If you scroll down further in the first post it will tell you which file goes in which field.

Ok just to clarify, load up all four files individually in each field as specified at the bottom of the first post? And do this all at once?

Sorry for the noob questions I flash plenty I just don't have a ton of experience using Odin.

---------- Post added at 11:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 AM ----------

for some reason after step 7 Odin says

<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

But it hasn't finished the flash yet and the progress bar on the Note 8 is still moving. It shows FAIL! in red on top but the green progress bar in Odin isn't finished yet.

Can I reboot the tablet? It wont brick will it?

If the progress bar is moving I would wait - Note in step 7 it says:

7. Select PDA in Odin and select the file downloaded in step 3. Make sure all other files are not checked. Flash... Odin will say it failed. Yes, don't worry, recovery is still there.
8. Reboot into download mode (Home + Volume Down + Power)
9. Using Odin only flash the BOOTLOADER, MODEM, and CSC from step 1. Do not flash the CODE file or the modified image. In other words, leave PDA unchecked in Odin.
10. Let the device install and reboot.
