I haven't figured it out yet Cyril, but haven't given up hope. I'll definitely let you know if I am able solve the puzzle.
I gotta admit...this is very frustrating. Each time I search for anything involving the Note 8 I find either the Int version or WIFI or I get a search result of the Note 2, 3, or 4. If I turn anything up I'll be sure to let you know as well. Until then, fingers crossed.

Just coming in to this thread: I had no problem with an AT&T Note 3 with Kingo Root, but have had no luck with the AT&T i467 with Kingo, the SafeRoot+Disable_Knox to root and unpadlock my Note 8's SD card from the 4.4.2 update. I have the Kernel 3.0.31-1848029 Sep 8, so the Towelroot exploit doesn't work either on this.

I have not used ODIN to reflash the CAMF1 MD5s and I have 2 copies that are different: one is "FACTORY_I467UCAMF1_I467ATTAMF1_ATT" filesize 1,017,720KB ; the other is "I467UCAMF1_I467ATTAMF1_ATT" filesize: 1,016,934KB

OP's link for "SAMSUNG-SGH-I467I467UCAMF1-ROOT.tar" is dead...do I already have it? And will flashing CAMF1 allow reverting to Jellybean, then open the door to the Towelroot exploit and/or Saferoot method?

thanks in advance
PL

We follow the directions on the first page somebody updated the dl link for us. look on your Tablet if you are on baseband i467UCAMF2 then you must do step 6. Basically if you updated to Camf2 then you have to flash back to CAMF1 then flash the Rooted Image.. hope this helps

That would help those with the problem of not following the directions. That doesn't pertain to my situation nor does it help others. We (I hope i can speak for others) can't even get the Note to get out of download mode. The only other screen shown is the error message during firmware upgrade. The question I had posted was what do "we" do with the download link that contains OTA 4.4.2. It contains the cfg file and Odin doesn't recognize.

To answer your question specifically you don't do anything with OTA 4.4.2 nor does the directions tell you too.. You can't get out of Dl mode till you get this right because most likely your file system is gone or corrupted. If you were on 4.4.2 it might be bricked if you were on camf2 then flash the file you got from samsung first that takes you back to F1 then flash the pre rooted image. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3w-dFE5Q3FOY1R4U3JVZW83bE0&usp=sharing only download the pre rooted tar file. So to be clear the only files you need is the F1 from samsung this pre rooted F1 and Odin of course. hope that helps bud.

Ps. If I were you I would start over and only flash the image from samsung then see if your device boots normally

Yea not sure what version he is on luckily im still on 4.1.2.
without root and recovery = what you can't do any thing. Sure! Because there isn't firmware stock to flash by Odin

Samsung SGH-I467 (AT&T)
A/ Android Kitkat 4.4.2 Baseband: I467UCUBNI2
• Android Version: v4.4.2 KitKat
• Build Number: KOT49H.I467UCUBNI2
• Baseband: I467UCUBNI2

B/ Android ICS 4.1.2: PDA: I467UCAMF2
Android version: 4.1.2
Product code: SGH-I467ZWAATT
Phone version: I467UCAMF2
PDA version: I467UCAMF2
CSC version: I467ATTAMF2
Beside, you can use Kernel to flash after installing rom 4.1.2
Eg: I467_NI2_Stock_Kernel.tar (however, this kernel is wrong)

If anyone knows of an official kit kat build for the AT&T Note 8 that I can flash using odin, please let me know. I have scoured the internet for a build and cannot find one. The links some have sent are only for root using 4.1.2. Any other links are kernels. I tried using Sam Mobile and they only have 4.4.2 for Canadian users. Kies is useless.......Again, any help is appreciated. :fingers-crossed:
