How's the backlight on the buttons? Any issues?

I'm learning A LOT about source code at this rate too LOL
I even modified the backlight code (borrowed some code, so I cheated) to fix the last issue. And then I added it under a "liblights" folder in my device repository, to override the default lights stuff. haha

- NON-HD video playback
- YouTube (including HD videos)

- Compass
- Rear camera takes photos, and flash
- Bluetooth (and A2DP)
- GPS
- Phone
- 3G/HSPA/LTE Data
- SMS send/receive
- Headphone audio
- Backlight Notification (BLN)
- Torch app
- USB tethering
- Speakerphone
- Wi-Fi hotspot
- NFC (needs confirmation, but no errors in logcat anymore)
- Lights on capacitive buttons


What doesn't work:

- Front camera
- Proximity sensor for phone
- Rear camera records SD/HD video but crashes part of the way through playback -- might need fix of OMX libraries
- HD video playback
- MHL(?)


Haven't tried:

- FM radio

How hard is it going to be to get jelly Bean now that its released?
since it is based on ICS just better is that going to be much work.....
after this one is fully working.. but you are probably not even thinking about JB.

I'm not even thinking about anything else. I just want ICS to work.

And I have no idea how easy JB is because first of all there is no source code for CM, and secondly I have very little idea how things work in CM9 in the first place. One thing at a time.

I may just go into hiding after ICS and wait for someone else to take over... it takes a toll on family life

I am gonna start trying myself, been so busy in work past 2 weeks, slowing down a bit now, thanks to your good self dsixda, we've got cwm and now ics!!
Jelly bean is not a big deal right now, doesn't even seem that much different, looks like it's mostly system tweaks

Uploading cm-9-20120628a right now (Note the letter "a" after the date). Wait 30 minutes.

Should fix capacitive button backlight issue.

I must be an anomaly, but my capacitative buttons have lit up since the first build.

I'm downloading the newest build now, will post results tomorrow.

Baseband version

Hi guys not so sure if this is a right/correct place to ask as there isn't a thread for i757m.

I am using this phone and I wonder if I can change the i757m baseband to the galaxy nexus baseband version. Any ideas?

I am having problems rooting my SGH-i757m

Root Access is not properly configured or was not granted.
