Just a simple guide to update to the latest JB firmware (10.4.1.B.0.109) on locked bootloader. The customisation is Generic UK.

Please note that this is only compatible with the SGP311 model of the Tablet Z, and requires that you are already rooted with dual recovery.

Your tablet will NOT be wiped if this is performed correctly, but you are still strongly recommended to take a full backup INCLUDING INTERNAL SD.

Latest TabZ-lockeddualrecovery flashable zip from http://nut.xperia-files.com/
http://www.flashtool.net/download.php

Installation:

  1. Put all zip files on external SD (must be FAT or FAT32 format)
  2. Boot into TWRP (press vol down when LED turns green on boot)
  3. Flash in this order: (DO NOT REBOOT BETWEEN)
    1. sgp311-43-109-uk
    2. TabZ-lockeddualrecovery
    3. SuperSU
  4. Go to Home -> Reboot -> Power Off
  5. Using FlashTool, flash the stripped FTF (tick exclude UNKNOWN and untick all wipe)
  6. You're done :)
