And work, it surely is! Thanks!

I'm just trying to figure out what precisely is being left-out / stripped...would like to build an Americas/U.S. FTF for the SGP311 that you just now added !! Also, as a minor FYI I noticed that the thread title includes "SGP311" in it now, however the 311 is 10.4.B.0.577 while your SGP351/321 is *569

SGP311: Custom NORDIC 10.4.B.0.577::
Download the files here and follow the steps as mentioned from Step 2 in the First post
`SBR`s mirror above was only showing the 16MB stripped FTF for the past 1+ hour since post #24 of this thread. In only the past 10 mins or so, the upload finished and the flashable ZIP has been made visible at mega.co.nz

I'm trying already 3 times to download that SGP311_10.4.B.0.577_Generic NORDIC_flashable.zip file from Mega.
All three time it stops at 52%...Is something wrong here?
Thanks!

I did my own flashable image and stripped ftf using as reference SBR's files but nothing....it stuck on SONY logo.....and the dual recovery doesn't work. I will try with yours now.

Stripped Out is just your regular FTF without these files

System.sin --> That is available as Flashable Zip
Userdata.sin
Applog.sin
Cache.Sin

So if you want for Flash the US Variant of SGP311 Variant, download the SGP311 Flashable Zip, flash it as per the instructions in First Post.
At the time of flashing the Stripped.FTF, you can actually use your Original FTF with above options removed. ( by this method you may miss the customized app/system files for your region, so be warned always have the Original.FTF ready if anything happens)

I have attached the screenshot for what are the option to be checked while flashing in place of Stripped.FTF

In the Wipe Option
  • Uncheck Everything

In the Exclude Option
  • Uncheck these
  • SYSTEM
  • UNKNOWN

What you're going to Flash as Stripped FTF at the last steps is below items
  • Baseband
  • Partition
  • Kernel
  • FOTA Kernel --> for OTA Updates
  • ELABEL --> Not sure what it is, but have your region specific files.

if you used DIY_Guide by @[NUT] method, then you need to replace the Recovery images (.lzmo) and Chargemon file under the System folder by using 2.7.62 version of Tab ZXDualrecovery files.

if you have tried manually using Windows, it will not boot, stuck at setting permissions.. don't windows is not working properly

Actually, I took the SGP351 flashable file and replaced only the system.tgz with the one extracted from the nordic FTF (i used flashtool and DiskInternals Linux reader to mount and extract the ext4 file system). I think that except system.tgz the rest of the structure is common. Isn't ?

BTW, TWRP has wrong orientation (I thought this was fixed in latest dual recovery versions).

It works with the NORDIC files. Therefore SGP351/321 and SGP311 firmware structures have more differences than I thought. Given that 4.3 SGP311 firmwares despite the customization are all the same, everyone can take it's favorite customized FTF and create the flashable zip and stripped down FTF and flash it. I will try with some as soon as I have the time.

Thanks for the help!!

I´m pretty sure that will cause bootloops.
Xposed modules from 4.2.2 will not work in 4.3 like the kernels from 4.2.2
