Hello. I tried to install the apps you mentioned but when i run it, from the look of it, it automatically upgraded itself to 1.7... then when i plugged my icon, the icon on the right is grayed out and it keeps on disconnecting the device. i followed everything from your instruction up to this point...

I just used new 1.7 version and it rooted my phone ( lg e440 ) properly and it also have put english SuperSU.

Hi, did you use an English version of vRoot to get the engligh SuperSU? Or just the normal chinese version?

Just used the chinese version.... installed supersu gave it permission to update binary then disabled the chinese root app

Wow, finally!!!!! I have rooted many tablets and phones-until this one, a JXD P1000s. Your procedure is the only one that worked on this very stubborn tablet which is listed as an MTK6516 CPU but is actually an MTK6575 according to every CPU .apk I've installed to test it. I had tried every exploit I could find, including manually entering ADB commands, using two different Chinese rooting programs and all the other exploits and one-click solutions none of which worked. I am going to post a link to this page with your permission to another user who has need of this. Chinese superuser is very nice-actually cleans some files and gave me complete permissions. I updated to Google play version which I was able to update with newest binary. Thanks much. I was running out of phone memory due to many Chinese apps on top of my apps-rooting solved that problem..Great job!

I tried to install V-Root but my firewall sayes that the program try to modifiy a windows system key and internet explorer and try to go out on the internet. Why does it have to do that?

Thankyou soooo much. Had rooted (TF700T runing JB 4.2.1 build 10.6.1.14.10) using another method found here but still had permission issues. vRoot 1.7 has done the trick and have now been able to use ROM Manager (which I don't use to manage ROM's btw) to correct system wide permissions. Huge HUGE thanks as I was not really keen on the idea of guessing my way through the Chinese UI descriptions

Can we sticky this for the TF700 area as many are falling flat trying to root where this JB build has already been installed.

Thanks whoelsec for the /system/app mover method. You may only add that you need busybox installed for this method to work.

Yes, that's the only part I'm afraid of where user getting error updating binary after uninstalling chinese root manager.

Did you install supersu before uninstalling chinese root?

Idk the list of supported device, I know there's a lot.

Hey, thanks for this exploit! Couldn't find another alternative for my asus memopad smart 10 (me301t, 4.2.1, Stock). List it if you like!

Also, i have a expirience where uninstalling a program like these wipes out the hard drive. (Luckly i knew how to uninstall that program manually.)

Is it fine if i uninstall it?? (No damage of course)
