I could never get kingroot to work on the 106 update, just locked up at like 24% and closed. tried flashing SU but it wouldn't boot after so I just went without root until now.

I rooted my device without any instruction. I just couldn't figure out why it would not boot into fastboot mode. Then I realized it boots right into fastboot mode. Thank you for responding though.
