Not sure about snapchat never used it. But im sure its been talked about here if I remember, just type it in the search. I dont see how one could recover lost video if data is wiped..sorry. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Yes, Discdigger is nice. But can I still recover the video after root? Since samfail wipes data.

Also, just to reconfirm, can I also use snapchat after unroot? Meaning there is totally no harm after rooting with samfail. If yes, Thats super amazing ˆˆ

I'm pretty sure with snapchat uses safetynet and when you're unrooted it'll pass with flying colors. It's more like logging into snapchat with a rooted device that becomes the problem. I've always had TiBu restore my data on rooted devices since snapchat uses a unique "key" per log in, and if you never log out, the servers maintain that one unique key from your previous log in

Do anyone know how I could recover deleted video in my phone? Since recover video requires rooting, but rooting requires wipe data.
So how can I recover the video?

Mine has been weird about Snapchat. Since I run the beta app I don't seem to have issues. It just logs in no problem.

There's unfortunately no way to recover the deleted video. I've tried before and it doesn't work mainly because the phones don't use hard drive discs like a computer does it's basically memory and once memory gets overwritten that's it, it's gone.

I just came to check and see after about 6 months of being gone if your thread was still open and if your were back and YOUR BACK!! THANKS FOR THE ROOT BRO!! I am still on the the first samFAIL you provided and everything is working fine, only tiny issue was that if i run out of battery, upon plug in charger I see a weird message in red letters and then a circle with lighting bolt through so phone will not charge unless I need to use a official Sammy fail charger and hold volume down and eventually goes to upload mode unknown error lol, (unplug and plug in charger again and wait at least 10 or 20 minutes then I am able to secretly charge it although you can't tell it charging (hence secret) then hold volume down again and you will have a couple percent battery upon boot up! =D if you don't do this it will appear to boot up although the battery will be at zero and go back to the red letters again over and over, THANKS FOR samFAIL man!!!

It's not going to be there after you root because rooting wipes the entire phone! You also can't use titanium backup until after you're rooted. The best thing to use is Smart Switch which is Samsung's backup tool.. You should also save the stuff you want by manually taking them from the phone to the computer or SD card.

I use N950F/DS w/ Verizon's VoLTE & LTE Data w/ T-mobile as a back up source to switch to when LTE isn't available as well as a backup, always on incoming phone line in the case when I loose LTE. Google voice will ring both to enure I never loose a call. Its great, all I need to do now that I have figured out how CSC works and tweaking things to meet my unique circumstance is flick a toggle in the SIM manager and boom, I get VoLTE working on each carrier depending on my selected default SIM for data and also get SMS/MMS working simultaneously regardless of selected SIM defaults all the while never missing a call.

I get around 55mbs on Verizon near my home and when switching over to TMB its about 65mbs all on band 4. I had to disable band 2 as VZW is 2mbs there and sometimes turn off or on band 5 as sometimes its fast and sometimes not.

I also get encryption, magisk, xposed, and can charge up to 100%.

It's what I did and can recommend using the international version, but its tough to set up CSC (which also requires staying on Nougat, Oreo is a no go for me)

I feel dumb asking this question but where exactly do I find the bootloader information because I can't find any of the above mentioned bootloader numbers. I know I'm supposed to access it by volume down, bixby, power but after that I'm clueless. Plus it's small as F

Go in settings, about phone then software information and under Baseband version is the bootloader info.
