Now that's strange...are you rooted? I suspect you're not...
Why don't you follow the instructions here
http://android.modaco.com/content/g...ere27-ere36b-superboot-rooting-the-nexus-one/
Download the "Superboot for ERE27 with himem enabled" one and follow the instructions on that page. (Again, i am assuming you did nothing to your phone so far hence it's still ERE27 ie stock, to confirm, go to about phone in settings)
With that done, try going into recovery again and see if the recovery img has changed to the Amon-Ra one...
If not, just do the previous steps that you did earlier with fastboot flash recovery etc etc and again boot into recovery to see if it's up and going.
Side note : If after all these you're rooted and have flashed recovery 1.6.2, make sure you do NOT try to flash the radio images and only flash the custom roms as you probably need to read up more on ADB,flashing roms etc otherwise you'll end up bricking your phone
About phone, says: build number: ERE27
So just to be sure:
- downlad Superboot for ERE27 with himem enabled
- extract the files
- go in fastboot mode
- double-click install-superboot-windows.bat
Then it should be rooted and:
- go to fastboot mode
- bootloader -> recovery
- the recovery img should come
- choose nexus-addon-0.1-signed.zip
Right?
And what should I then do?
