TWRP 3.2.1-0 is an update on the previous version of TWRP 3.1.1-0 bringing better compatibility for Android Oreo. The full changelog is as below

  • Minui fixes (cryptomilk)
  • Better android-8.0 compatibility in ROM trees (Dees_Troy)
  • Fix missing library in android-8.0 (nkk71)
  • Fix inconsistent SDCard naming (DevUt)
  • Default to TWRP restore instead of adb backup restore to fix restore on fresh TWRP boot (jlask)

I have ported this new version of the recovery to the Infinix HOT 4 Pro alias X556 running on Nougat XOS skin with 3.18.35+ kernel. You can use this recovery to root your X556, make nandroid backup on top of flashing custom Roms from your favourite developer

INSTALLATION GUIDE - ROOTING

1. Download the file from the link above and extract

2. Launch Sp Flash Tool and load the scatter in the extracted folder

3. Click download button on flash tool and connect your Hot 4 Pro while switched off

4. Boot into recovery when flashing is done - Use Power Key + Volume Up

5. In recovery flash supersu or magisk to obtain root on your device

6. Reboot after you are done

7. Enjoy

bur there isnt custom rom for hot 4 pro.. or is d work still going.
pls we need ports for hot 4 pro that is based on nougat or oreo.

I am very happy

It worked very well. Although I also flashed no-verity disabler before flashing the superSU to prevent boot loop. Thanks alot for the twrp port. Nobody has it in the world, just xda

unable to install twrp ?

Always getting this:
BROM ERROR S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL(0x13BE)

It's like telling me that the image file is not correct or compatible with my phone

I've already downloaded different twrp images for hot 4 pro. But I'm still getting the same error. Please someone should come to my aid. I really have to root my phone asap

Um. When i try to download the zip file mega doesn't seem to work as it gives me this error "Temporary error, retrying". Can you please fix this or is there any other link to download the file. Thanks again ?

After flashing TWRP , my x556 gets stuck at infinix logo , happened twice now and i flashed the stock rom to get out of that logo screen , flashed the TWRP again now , and i'm stuck at the logo again please help me root this device , thanks in advance , btw i'm running Android 7 (N).

Make sure you flash magisk or SuperSU immediately after flashing twrp
