I have CUN-21 and I put it on, it looks good to date, the previous version was not perfect.
Is there a link from where the new version can be downloaded?

Look at my comment above your, there is link on 3.1.1 made by Jeminni. Make sure that you are on firmware version B115 (Romanian)

How exactly are you flashing your modified recovery?

Remember after flashing it you MUST immediately boot into recovery (Vol up + Power) or else the system will replace it with the stock recovery.

If problem not solved try: volup+voldwon+power button leave power button when H logo appear.

For anyone like me that has CUN-L21 and had problems with B115 , the likes of : voip apps not working (facebook messenger , not the lite one , whatsapp , viber) , apps that use camera not working , even shazam ; here is the solution to go back to something else:
Take the B123 firmware from here (the SD update one) : http://huaweidevices.ru/
Extract from it the update.app
Extract update.app with HuaweiUpdateExtractor
Move resulting system.img to adb folder on PC
Plug phone to USB , reboot to fastboot
Open CMD in ADB folder , type fastboot flash system system.img , wait for it to finish , fastboot reboot
Done

Now all the aforementioned apps are working , sim is also working , all is good. Wasn't rooted but i just flashed supersu and it's rooted again.
Hope i helped someone in need who had problems with b115 on cun-l21.

I flashed that through TWRP and everything worked perfectly except the sim was not recognized , so i had to find the different solution from above.
But i was thinking if the meta-inf folder from that zip can be used in future projects of rom porting that we may have.

Link to TWRP - flashable B105 from/for CUN-L21. Comfirmed flashed and working. Credit goes to creator not me (i think igor-s74 seeing as his name appears both as a poster and in the flashing process of the rom. So cheers mate). Maybe we can port some roms now.

Edit : Here is Flyme os for Y5-II cun-u29 , the 3g version (not mine , i take no credit). Does anybody know how to port it to our device?

Do you mean the firmwares ? Don't flash that , they are from the 3g version of our phone , which has a different chipset , MT6582 as opposed to MT6735. I believe it would result in a brick.

Works on my CUN-L21, firmware version B115.

I dont know if I replied.. and by now I forgot what I did.. sorry.. although I might have some notes still, but whatever I did, using the custom site to unlock, plus erm, some recovery I forgot which (I downloaded the romanian one as a backup) but I had 118 non romanian.. and it worked wihtout any issues... in fact, the phone became awesome, I ripped out SO much I never did on the old damsung 3 haha, even a bunch of key modules.. no back up yet haha.. (well last night I did a byte for byte copy of all 26 partitions).. and it is wokring greater than ever!! So ye.. I have started extracting a bit to consider making a rom, but to be honest, I don't have the time... I reocmmend just doing a full backup of the partitions, use as much fdroid stuff as possible, amaze fm which has a ftp so forget stuff liek air droid bla bla.. and move afwall , amaze fm and such to system apps.. oandbackup is a titanium style backup of data/apk from fdroid.. great stuff, the phone has now become somewhat useful (L21).. before it iwas a bunch of garbage due to the crappy cpu.. but now I have more space , less lag and just feels great ))
