try do next: install rom with wipes, install supersu, boot system, reboot system, boot system again, then boot recovery and install xposed zip, next boot system, install xposed apk, reboot. this way works for mei tried fresh install with wipe all, didnt install any modules and still get bootloop.
edit: actually i do have 2 modules installed, they are called wear messanger and 3c tuner. but they are in no way activated. do you think they can still cause bootloop?

yes u can, but after that u need to flash LP rom. in KK kernel doesn't workMaybe a dumb question but would it be possible to flash this via TWRP if you are still on 4.4.4? Lollipop has not yet been released by my carrier in Sweden and I thought that maybe I could use this kernel as a work-around to be able to download lollipop? Sorry but I've been away from the android scene for a few years

Flash via recovery or unpack and flash boot.img via fastboot.
In kernel repacked ramdisk with:

That doesnt wort on LP. You will get a bootloopafter that must i do the drm recover thing??!!???
all modules should be optimised for LP or you'll get bootloop with KK modules@ Desperanto86
