Hey, root via Universal Androot works on Dell Streak (FW 1.6 Build 6267).

If anyone was going to reply it was going to be you.

I just get a DNS error when using this I also found a link and QR code on Software2Tech.com with the same issue.

Passe28 – did you download from the market? Or do you have a copy od the .apk?

it works on french devices: you have to run the root process twice.

tu reclick sur le bouton "root" et tu recommences si le soft te dit failed ;)

did you try installing pauls superboot ? I can't see how this one click method would cause the flashing led issue..

try installing the 6267 boot.img from modaco in the thread you posted there..

a very quick search would tell you how to do it...

easiest way
grab pauls superboot r2 for 4339
copy the boot.img to that folder
delete the superboot.boot.img ( or whatever its called) rename boot.img to exactly the same name as the file you deleted.

go into fastboot on the streak (power on with the camera button down)
make sure it connected.
run the bat or shell file..

thanks.i do.adn ok.the led dont flash.thanks very much.
but only on mac,with window dont appeare bootloader on the streak.
