what is the difference between this and downloading the manager and magisk?
To get root we have 2 method:
  • With a custom recovery
When we have Twrp etc, we can use this
  • Modify boot.img
When we haven't Twrp.., we can use this until Twrp release.

"Patched boot image" is patched by Magisk manager, without step flash zip file.

Hi!

I have tried several patched boot image - on one helped. So I booted to TWRP recovery and installed Magisk 21005 with that then root works. SafetyNet check too.

Does anyone have a magisk patched boot img for xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK30SUltra_MI10T_V12.0.5.0.QJDCNXM_v12-10, If yes, can you please share a link?. I don't have TWRP.

Does anybody have a patched boot.img for ROM xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10TPro_V12.0.7.0.QJDMIXM_v12-10.zip

From what I understand we cannot use 12.0.6.0 version. This is for the Mi10T PRO

Thank you very much

why you don't use twrp?
Because in your first post in "[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL][3.4.0][apollo].........", you say: Install guide:
To boot (Reccomended):
Code:
fastboot boot <twrp.img>

And for that reason, I think I need the patched boot img

Sorry for my English, and thanks for you quick reply

Great thread. We are lucky to have @Whyle in our mids and sharing his work.

Would you @Whyle give an instruction on how to find out the status if your device could be unlocked? I mean to find out if the time limit from Xiaomi has expired already? Thanks

command no, because it's saved on server, but if you try to unlock, it will give you the remaining time in Mi Unlocking Tool.
