Root Verizon Z2 LTE - SGP561 - successfully

Just wanted to share that i managed to root my Verizon Z2 LTE - SGP561 successfully today.
This is after i was searching for weeks & trying trying to find a working solution.
My device is 4.4.2 build 17.1.D.0.437 and now its rooted & i am really happy.
What i did is as follows:
1) allowed USB debugging on the tablet and connected it to my PC

2) downloaded the "EasyRootTool v12.4" zip file and extracted it on my windows 7 PC

3) from the unzipped folder I run the "install.bat" and followed the instructions on screen.

4) it worked SUCCESSFULLY !!!

That's all i did - i installed root checker which verified i am rooted.
I manually installed SuperSU PRO apk and later installed ADAWAY (AD Blocker) and all works fine for me.

wanted to share for those of you who have a Verizon Z2 tablet and are in a need for a Root

Can I get someone to upload the 17.1.D.0.437 firmware here? I've sent my brother's tablet back and they sent me a brand new one but it comes with the latest version out of the box. I can't find that particular firmware to flash it to be able to root. The rooting software stops and hangs at a certain point, so I presume that the exploit was patched up.
