Will this work with the Y71?

Hi there,

I am very new to this topic and have never worked with Adroid before, so please bare with me :)

Will this process work for the new Vivo Y71? (released in China 1 month ago)

I bought it in Shenzhen a few weeks back and went into a shop in Honk-Kong to have them install Google Play Store. Now, I don't know whether they already rooted the device to install Google Play. How can I see if the device is already rooted?

I have the problem, that some of the system prompts (like, error messages) are still in Chinese. The rest of the OS is in English. I would like to eventually install a ROM with support for German or at least full English support.

I know, lots of questions. Sorry if they're stupid!

best
