[ROOT][WATER 7][HOW TO] Lyf Water 7 LS-5504

This Method Is For Rooting Lyf Water 7 i.e LS-5504
#Big Thanks To XDA and ME
Proceed At Your Own Risk I m Not Responsible For Any Damage To your Phone

To Begin Root Process First : Enable USB Debugging In Developer Options In Settings
*If U Dont see Developer Options Then Goto About Device In Settings Then Tap On Build No. 7 Times

Now Follow Instructions:-
1] Connect Phone To PC And Install the ADB Drivers I provide In .zip
2] Then Power Off your phone And Then Boot it in Fastboot Mode
3]Then open Start.bat And select Option 1
4] Your phone Will restart many times Dont Panic Just wait And Make sure of Charging and Driver's Installation of Your Phone
5] You Are Rooted Now
Download Root Water 7.zip

Bootloader Locked?

If u See Errors like:- Bootloader Is locked

Then Just Connect your Device to Pc in fastboot mode and open fastboot in command prompt and type:-

Fastboot oem unlock

And then follow the Procedure to root ur device

DONE

No buddy no theme engines yet until we r Marshmallow . Substratum starts working from Marshmallow

And the talk of Roms. I m not currently working on one but collecting materials for it ,will start working in a month i have board exams approaching. So sry u have to wait a bit but surely after a month i will. Till then u can suggest what kind of rom u want it would help me

Isn't tested On Marshmallow . But works with most of lolipop devices . There's risk using ot on Marshmallow so dont try

How did u flashed twrp...i flashed through flashify then after flashing into recovery nothing is coming...then again i m rebooting into revovery stock recovery coming please...help...and i rooted my phone by kingoot.

R u sure u r rooted ? Use Rashr if flashify not working if u have pc then use pc method it's much easier

I saw nubia z9 Mini hardware is somewhat similar to water 7 ( I see both have same kernel too ). Can we do something with that ? I tried to check for their custom ROM so far no luck . I do not see a device forum for z9 mini in xda developers.

Thanks for Informing . And First xam went well not others are comming . And yes this info could help also first we have to make Water-7's own stock zip ROM then further porting is possible without burden .just have to wait till 08/April then i will start making custom rom

@Gautam Maini, "The (Water 7) mobile prompted for an update and when clicked update, the device shut down ( bricked? ) ". This message was from my brother who currently has the mobile. I currently do not have access to the mobile. It seems the newer update ( don't know which update or whether the update caused the issue. I'll ask clearly when I go home ) bricks the mobile. Meanwhile ask people not to update if any update prompt pops up.

Is there any flashable zip that can revive Water 7 if the issue was certainly a brick?

I already told the persons not to update . If device is tempered like rooted or unlocked or custom recovery then updating officially can brick the device .If ur device is purely Factory only then Flash the Official update otherwise​ brick is must . Although sometimes due to Jio's downloading speed issues a damaged update is downloaded which can also cause brick (happned with me on the 1st day i brought device). So now if u r bricked then there are two ways 1).Take the device to Service Center no matter u r rooted or whatever 2).flash TWRP and then i send u a Backup file

I MySelf Did and perfer to do also to end OTA survival if u wanna modify device also have OTA updater installs Bloatware and ADware on device
