I would like to offer some advice. I downloaded the most current version of KingRoot before you uploaded it just now and I also had problems. I had a suspicion that maybe other apps/services were trying to prevent it so I made sure that uninstalled ALL antivirus and adware apps (I had several) and sure enough, that was the problem. Worked like a charm.

Hey everyone since the files have been removed I have compressed them and uploaded them to media fire! I'll create more mirrors just in case and add them to the main post. In the mean time enjoy

Thanks for the guide. I have followed all the instructions, including adding super su and installing xposed. But the kingroot app is still in my app drawer and trying to gain root access. I denied it with super su but I am unable to uninstall it.

Remove Kingroot after rooting?

Is there a method for removing knigroot without losing root? When I ran Supersume it said it was removing it but it's still there. I lost root when I tried to remove it and had to re-root with Kingroot and run supersume again.

I install SuperSU Me, the app ran fine and said removing Kingroot and installing SuperSU. After the process, I still see Kingroot and can't uninstall it. Sometimes, "Kingroot is not responding" pops up. Any ideas?

Also, do you know if I can install custom ROM on Verizon SPG561? Thanks

Yeah, there are other methods that use PC or by flashing files. I found use of Supersume the easiest and quickest. At times when Supersume is doing its work you have to force close the app and try again. And yeah I know about the reboot issue, it's happened to me to. I'll try to replicate the issue and solve it.

If that happens, try rebooting the tablet. I've had to do the whole process twice. But if you really want, you can easily navigate to the apps location by using a root Explorer app and navigating to system/app and search for kinguser or kingroot and delete the files. As for SGP561 I'm unsure. Haven't checked as I don't use roms on it. I'm sure this forum has some. If I find any I'll link to it

hi guys,
can i use this FW on a wifi only UK version as i am trying to roll back from 6.01 ..... thanks in advance
I was in exactly the same boat. I didn't go on with marshmallow. The file he provides isn't a firmware. It is just a bundle of tools. You will need to get a stock firmware using xperifrm and create and flash an ftf from it using flashtool. Just Google those two pieces of software and a few keywords and there are lots of guides. You don't need to flash the UK firmware BTW (not that you could find a non marshmallow one anyway!).

Even more reliable way is to install TWRP using the batch file from a pc after getting root with kingroot, then boot into TWRP. Flash the supersu flashable zip file, then TWRP has a built in file manager in the advanced section. Use that to delete the folder \system\App\kinguser and the com.kinguser folder in the data folder (you will need to make TWRP mount the data and system folders).

Incidentally I used the latest version of kingroot (5.something) and the latest supersu (2.7.6).
