rooted 1.83 on Gingerblur 3.1 still says 1.57 and 2.2.1

i have sbf 1.83 and then rooted using gingerbreak. after that i flashed gingerblur 3.1 and my phone constantly asks me to update to 1.83 and says im on 2.2.1 and 1.57. Does anyone know how to fix this???

So you have the uncapped upload speeds? There's a user named eval that found something out if you sbf instead of OTA update you keep the bootloader from the previous version but if you phone indicates .57 and 2.2.1 then that's odd. Make sure you are actually on .83 by speed testing
