So....I've rooted this thing.....what could we possibly do with it?

  1. ]You'll need lglaf.py and adb for this
  2. Turn off camera by holding the power button
  3. Plug usb-a into computer, (leave camera unconnected)
  4. Press and hold the shutter button while plugging the usb-c into the camera. Keep holding the shutter button down until led turns blue.
  5. In a terminal, type 'python lglaf.py --cr'
  6. Type 'setprop persist.sys.usb.config mtp,adb'
  7. Exit lglaf prompt and unplug camera
  8. Hold power button down to reboot camera.
  9. Plug camera back into usbc
  10. On computer, type 'adb shell'
Now install whichever exploit fits your fancy.

Well this is cool

wow thanks, any pointers on the "Now install whichever exploit fits your fancy." step?

scrcpy gives me a blank screen with "CCS" at the top and adb shell seems like I don't have root.

I can't get the official LG360 app to connect to my camera on my phone, so I was trying to find a way to program the shutter button to start capturing at 2sec intervals (used for Mapillary) so I don't need the app at all.
