Thank you. That made it so damn easy.It flashes the OC1 kernel from Safestrap. You're supposed to use it in tandem with the NC2 Flasher app so you can get into Safestrap, and then get back into Android, without needing to use Odin.
If you care about your Xposed modules, stay on DynamicKat. If you want to test out Lollipop you can make a backup of DynamicKat in Safestrap and if you don't like Lollipop you can flash back to NC2 and restore the backup you made.I've read through this thread i'm still a little confused between the options.
I am rooted on a custom rom (DynamicKat) on 4.4.2. I currently have safestrap and all kinds of xposed modules running.
Which path would be the best to 5.0?
Thanks
After I make the backup It seems I could start at step 5 in the third option? Thanks for the help!If you care about your Xposed modules, stay on DynamicKat. You could. I actually don't see a need to flash stock NC2 for the third option. The partitions are already going to be wiped by Safestrap, and the last step flashes all the OC1 components to the phone. After I make the backup It seems I could start at step 5 in the third option? Thanks for the help!
Screen pinning looks like it is for stock Android only. Unless Samsung removed it, there already is a "screen pinning" type feature that is under Accessibility as "Interaction Control". I don't know if it is still in Lollipop, but it essentially does the same thing and allows you to block parts of the screen from being used.Is it possible we are missing Screen pinning on our distribution? Is this an AT&T thing or an American version thing. I can't find it and several
websites have made note of this nifty feature. Thanks again for all the hard work , Walter !

Thank you!.
I see no android.policy.odexThank you!.Can you look to see if you could find android.policy.odex in /system/framework folder or /system/framework/arm/Nevermind.
They moved it in /system/framework/arm/boot.art and boot.oat... You have to deodex the whole /framework/ (as well as app and priv-app) folders using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/and.../script-app-joeldroid-lollipop-batch-t2980857I see no android.policy.odex

GOOD NEWS..... Downgrade to NL1/NC2 still possible!!!!!
Yes, it is a new feature, to stock Android. Samsung has the ability to remove whatever they want from Android and fill in what they want. Presumably if you can't find screen pinning then that means Samsung removed it, in favor of their interaction control. It is a new feature, I think. Phan Droid and one other website said so
Yes. In Odin versions 3.09 and up they renamed some things, with that PDA became "AP".So when you say PDA slot do you mean AP
