I unlocked bootloader, loaded twrp, loaded magisk, and rooted. It passes root test apps, and it says it's granted superuser to apps (specifically NoBloat and AdFree), but they don't seem to actually have superuser access. NoBloat "disables" and "deletes" apps, but they don't disappear. AdFree loaded a host file, but ads are still everywhere. In short, they think they have superuser access, Magisk Manager thinks they have superuser access, but they don't seem to actually have it. I'm exhausted, and at this point, I have no idea what the problem is and I'm frankly out of my depth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Rooted with Magisk, but apps don't seem to be getting superuser access.
