Rooting an S4 mini sgh-i257m

I have had my S4 mini for nearly 2 years and I am getting tired of the stock Bell rom. How do I go about rooting the phone? Google doesn't really help and I don't want to brick my phone.

It's model is s4 mini sgh-i257m (The canadian S4 mini.)

There's a tutorial on here for you specifically for the i257m. In reality it's just an i9195 with a different kernal.
