1. Get root on old firmware root it then install Dual Recovery by NUT
2. Create a pre-rooted firmware from latest .470 fw ftf with Prf creation tool
3. Put pre-rooted firmware flashable zip at internal memory in root directory
4. Open NDR Utils app and reboot into TWRP recovery
5. Flash pre-rooted firmware and then... Power off device
6. Open FlashTool and flash latest .470 fw - exclude system only
7. Done!

You will get latest .470 fw rooted with dual recovery installed!

Tried 3 times and at last get successfully rooted lollipop
Pls reply if anyone else get success.
Its not mine just copy pasted from somewhere else.;)

Just tick sign zip and remaining must be flashed by flashtool dont forget to exclude system in flashtool because u have already included in pre-rooted firmware zip

Have u rooted successful with this method
I have root, I was trying this on my own initially but was unable to install dual recovery then I saw your post. I checked everything while creating the prerooted firmware, after flashing I tried installing recovery but it didn't work. I tried again after unlocking the bootloader and it still didn't work. I wanted recovery to install xposed framework. How did you get recovery to work for you?

I was thinking of adding in PRF Creator but I saw a thread where it was causing bootloops in xperia 5.0.2, there is a fix for the bootloop problem however the fix needs to be flashed before the xposed framework is flashed. I was unsure about how it would work if I added both the fix and the xposed framework together in PRF Creator so I didn't add them at all hoping that I might be able to install XZDual recovery after flashing the rooted firmware. I tried installing the recovery but the phone would only boot to android system. I have no bootloops but I have root.
