Yes, it does. However, since we have S-off, we can simply unroot, and completely hide the fact that the device was rooted. There is a guide on the forums somewhere. PM me if you need the link.

Yes your warranty will be void if you make any kind of modification to the android system that can affect the hardware. You can use the revone tool to gain S-On again and then remove the tampered warning. And then you can use an RUU to flash your device back to stock FW.
