Ok. So I have a 4GB SD that I burned CWM for stock too... Just two quick questions to help my understanding:

1. This SD is my recovery yes? It is not installed to the device itself and is locally on the card. And my backups will also be on this card?

2. Once I use this to install root and gapps etc, I don't need to keep it in the device correct? These apps/zips install directly to the device?

Thanks.

Yes to #1. Keep the card put away somewhere.

#2 you do not want to keep it in the device or it will never boot to stock. Yes everything gets installed to the device.
