Help needed. QCN file.

Hi,

I think I have done some changes to my 3G settings through the servicemenu.
My phone is not connecting thru 3G now.
I need a S duos QCN file to reset the settings.
But I think exported QCN contains IMEI as well.
If I can have the text version without the sensitive information, I dont mind changing the setting manually one by one.

Anyone can help?

Thanks.

I need a latest custom Rom for my s duos ... which is the fastest and great for gaming Rom....
You may start in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087177

I used the ROM for quite some time and liked it. There are also links to other ROM's in the thread. Note that it's the final version, i.e. no further development, no maintenance.

And you'll have to make your own opinion if it's the fastest one etc. Keep in mind the HW limitation of the device - this is not a gaming machine.

Why don't you try yourself? Once you have the customer recovery installed, flashing a ROM is a matter of a few minutes. I have tried only the KyleOpen. But it never occurred to me to play any games on this phone.

A few things:
- I don't play games, so the names you wrote don't say anything to me.
- Galaxy S Duos is not a gaming device, period. So, if you flash KyleOpen ROM (and optionally overclocked kernel) you can expect smoother interface and maybe a bit of extra performance in games, but definitely no miracles.
- KyleOpen ROM (and all other custom ROM's for this device) are only "cleaned" stock ROM's, i.e. with the as much of Samsung crap removed as possible (or made optional) and a few apps from CM ported over. There is no CM etc. for this device - as far as I can tell, CM doesn't yet support dual SIM phones. Bottom line: you cannot really compare CM to this ROM
- No, you have to have CWM. Just read the 1st post in thread I sent you, it's all in there.
- KyleOpen ROM is declared stable according to the thread, including the fact there is no maintenance, at all. I haven't seen any (meaningful) activity in the thread in the last 6 months at least. This means: all informations, solution to problems etc. is in the thread (which is not too long). Don't expect anybody will help you if you run into troubles. Take it or leave it. Plus, the device is quite old now and I don't thing there are too many people (=geeks) out there using it anymore.
- last thing: I don't use the device anymore.

Just an impression: I wanted to update software on my wife's S7562, so I rooted it and tried some KitKat ROM's. They all introduced some instability (random reboots) so, in the lack of strong active development, I decided to stay with the newest stock (4.0.4). Period.

I appreciate the tutorial but I am unable to get my device to the download mode. If I use the volume down, power and home buttons, my device goes into Factory Mode that has "Auto Test", "Item Test", "Test Report", "Debug Report", "Clear eMMC", "Version", and "Reboot.

If I use volume up, the device goes into Recovery Mode with "Reboot System Now", "Apply Update from ADB", "Apply Update from SDCard", "Apply Update from Cache", "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", "Wipe Cache Partition", "Backup User Data", and "Restore User Data".

Does anyone know of a way to root my s7562 Duos other than the one requiring Download Mode? I tried the Unlockroot Pro and it installed Malware and eventually was removed by my antivirus so this program is not an option.

If someone knows how to get my s7562 Duos to the Download Mode, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
