Hello, xda!

I have a Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 which has a locked bootloader and I can't unlock it. It has a newest Android (6.0.1) Marshmallow update, build 23.5.A.1.291. I really wanted to install a Custom ROM, but because I can't, I have thought of Xposed Framework. But I can't find any way to root the phone and install the recovery.
So, is there any way to root this phone?

Thank you in advance :)
P.S. I would appreciate if those steps can be done in Linux :D

Hi mate. Did you manage to root your Z3? Ive got a 6603 as well with the same build and want to go to Oreo. I got this phone as a replacement and cant restore my photos as the os is an older version.

Hi!
Unfortunatly, I never managed to root the phone because it broke before I even tried!
But why you can't transfer photos? Maybe I can help with that.
