the legend is my first android phone i was wondering if its possible to root it transfer the app caches and the apps to the SD card but then be able to return it to the stock rom so you can use OTA updates ? or would that not work ?
As I understood MoDaCo's how to root: not yet. there hopefully will be. But for now if you what to root, your not gonna be able to use the stock rom.
well at least apps2Sd is going to be added to an up coming android build that seems to be the main reason why people root their phones so its nice that its going to be officially added until then i guess its time to do it unofficially

so i assume with this latest release we can root and move apps2SD ? can anyone confirm this ? cause this is my reason for wanting to root it
Rooting a phone isn't the same as App2SD.... root is only necessary to have App2SD in the future...
