RROS v5.8.5 for Honor 4X (Che2-L11) (Kirin 620)

I am trying to get App2SD working with RR. I partitioned my SD card with parted (ext4 format). When creating the mount-script it asks me to give the path to su.d/post-fs-data.d/service.d. Does somebody know what the complete path would be?

I had that problem too, but can't remember solution. Are you using magisk and do you have busybox installed. I think it had something to do with that.

I had to install BusyBox. Now it seems to work. What apps have you transferred to the SD card? Or are there some that refuse to work?

Don't link any system apps. I think you can move any user app you want and if you face a problem just unlink : D

Some of the Google apps don't work if you link to SD. Specifically I had problems with Play Store app a few days ago. Any user apps you can just play around and see which work and which don't after linking. If the break, just uninstall and reinstall them.

Hey guys, my cherryplus when turned off will turn on by itself randomly, it also happens while the phone is off and charging.

For now we can not use the codecs huawei k3, video recording will not work as well as youtube 720p60fps

It's constantly asking me to update magisk, but when I tap to update nothing happens. Is it important, or should I just ignore the update? Thanks for creating the rom, by the way.

RR-N-v5.8.5-20171026-cherryplus-Weekly-b101 is ready
* doze settings
* small RR updates
* included hwcomposer
('hardware keys', 'wake up device' is no longer working, but now the screen is normally blocked in calls)

Now ROM does not include Magisk (but include default su binary), so you download it here or in Settings - About - Updates - Magisk
I update TWRP recovery, now this should work stably
I have no idea why the PIE does not work in French (but in Russian or English(UK) it's ok, so I think it's RR internal error)

I got an error message when I try to flash the newest version saying that "this device is cherry" then I tried a previous build "

before installing new builds, you need flash my twrp recovery (read it)

Thanks from me too. Update works fine. Only I have a different problem. I messed up Google play store in the previous build, and then installed it (from downloaded apk), and it worked. But now play store crashes. How can I completely remove it and reinstall (only play store)?

update: I converted it the app to system app, and now play store works. This is probably an Apps2SD issue.

root missing

The update went well, but when the phone rebooted, it didn't seem to be rooted anymore. No trace of "cm su" or "magisk" and root checker apps either kept loading and never actually told me whether if the phone was rooted or not, or told me 'Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device'.
I flashed the zip file a second time but I got the same results.

I guess I'd just have to flash magisk manually, but I'm not sure I will actually do that, I don't mind an unrooted phone, I just wanted to report the bug
