But you can have multiple partitions on SD card. I have 16GB adopted and 16GB "normal" SD which can is visible on other devices as well.

I used adb to create the partitions, but there might be an app for that too.

Is there a way to create adopted storage without formatting whole sd-card?
When I tried to create adopted storage from second partition the default android way, it just failed and partition disappeared.

Seems it was able to make it unallocated space, but stopped there.

I have partitioned it with these instructions, when I was still using stock ROM:

I used "mixed 50" so it created one normal and one adopted partition. I haven't tried if it works the same way in RROS Nougat, but probably it will..

But it WILL destroy everything on the SD. But it's not that difficult to copy everything to PC and then back? Just takes a bit time.

Hello again!

Since after the latest build installed on my honor, I noticed problems with apps, same apps I used now Lagging and slower(then before) and after big laggs always crashed... Probably doesn't matter which app I use it happen anyway... In older build version Instagram never crashed now it happened a lot... And Idk why but on the stock rom I can watch 720p60fps youtube vids, now in that rom at that resolution The picture and the sound is not in harmony (yeah that's a little problem I can watch it 480p or regular 720p I just noticed that)

Oh and I use the apps and watch yt vids at the highest power intensive battery profile, and get that problems, not in !powersave!... The ram usage is mybe the problem or what???

I do not know why this does not work. Personally, I'm fine.
We disabled <bool name="config_useDevInputEventForAudioJack">true</bool> in overlay bcs many people had a problem: after turning off the headphones did not turn on the external speaker

I think that your problem is an individual one

Hmm I don't know, we are 3 people here with this issue already (system not detecting headphones, only headphones with mic works), so it seems to be more than individual... Would altering config_useDevInputEventForAudioJack help? Is it a value that can be edited in some config file?

I have a problem with "Google Assistant". The "Ok Google" command does not work, and when I press the home button the Google app launches instead of Google Assistant. The Google Assistant can only be activated from the lock screen through the microphone icon.

For me it works. If this does not work for you on RR, it is likely that it will not work on Slim

Hmm, there is no such file.. I found just framework-res.apk, but when I open it as ZIP, there is no config.xml in it.. But I don't know how to edit apk files properly.

It is actually my girlfriend's phone so I don't have access there all the time. She said that of headphones won't work, she doesn't want it - so we need to fix it somehow

EDIT: I downloaded b71 and installed from twrp, but the phone is stuck on the starting screen (4 rolling balls). Wiping cache+dalvik doesn't help. It seems I have to give up with this ROM... Hopefully ksrt12 gets it to usable state one day.

when you downgrade RR version, you need wipe data too you didn't even try to do it, did you?

i made a portable sd card in RR and if i made the defuclt option of photo of any camera app to sd card the photos dont appear until i restart the system and even if i put music on sd card its dont appear in music until i restart the system so whats the problem now i am used sd card 64 gb nat32 and ext4 for app2sd ?? can anyone help me ??
note : i make nat32 as portable and ext as second partition

I have installed this rom according to ksrt12's instructions, and the flash works normally on my phone.

Yes, I admit I didn't try wiping data as we had everything set up already...and there was quite huge battery drain (15% per night with data and GPS disabled, with B95), so rather I flashed Marshmallow...

Pity that headphones didn't work for us when it works for others, but I guess it can be also related to parts of firmware that are not flashed together with RROS and they remain from previous full firmware (like modem firmware, hifi.img, dsp.img etc). Also before we flashed RROS, we had Marshmallow B570 showing Balong firmware (in the past, we upgraded from 4.4.2 to B570, but it seems she had Malaysian region set in the phone for some reason - I fixed it now) in the phone. Is there any requirement which FW should be in the phone before flashing RROS?

1. You have to format the card in a new phone (or in a computer) and you can use it again, it will be empty.
2. Kinston makes various cards...you can benchmark the one you have to see how fast it is.

system UI has stopped

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to warn you : DO NOT TRY THE "app circle bar" option in RR parameters.

Well, I was being curious about why the "app circle bar" title was replaced by a string of random figures in the menu but I thought that it might only by a problem with the French translation, or something along those lines. So, since the description was pretty obvious about what the option was supposed to do, I decided to try it out any way.
Silly mistake! As soon as I pressed the button to activate the option, a warning message prompted something like "system UI has stopped" (but in French, obviously), and I couldn't do anything.
Things got worse when I decided to reboot in recovery mode to make a backup (just in case) and save my data onto my computer. Well, I don't know why, but when I tried to transfer my data from my sd-card to the computer via TWRP, something went wrong and the phone rebooted the system, except that it was, for one reason, factory reseted. Unfortunately, my phone was enciphered, so I definitely lost the content of my SD-card.
Out of curiosity, and since my data was already lost for good, I tried to enable the "app circle bar" again, just to see if it was really that option that crashed my phone -> it was, I had exactly the same results.

So, for your own good, don't make the same stupid mistake as I did :good:

@narod_1, Thank you! I think this is a bug in the source code. In Russian, too, there were numbers instead of words, but I did not try to turn on this function. In next builds I fix it (but only English - I'm too lazy to translate into other languages )

I am trying to get App2SD working with RR. I partitioned my SD card with parted (ext4 format). When creating the mount-script it asks me to give the path to su.d/post-fs-data.d/service.d. Does somebody know what the complete path would be?
