I read this recently on Reddit, but the guy did not put any sources either..
I think we just have to wait a few days / weeks, there are two versions that were updated last days, there is no reason that it does not happen quickly on others !

Posting a opinion is one thing, but saying an "opinion" without any evidence and the only thing to say about it is "just believe me that it will", is a total atrocious behavior.
We're all waiting. Except for those "privileged" people overseas. ::Sigh::
may not be so privileged .. for the v30 there was two updates, one in 8.0 without ThinQ, and one in 8.1 with ThinQ in the same week, just depended on the model..
Maybe we will be lucky enough to have ThinQ functions directly, with a little hope :silly:
It's just a guess on my part, but there may be a chance !

Just checked, could you provide a link to the thread where you saw that? I saw no 8.1, only 8.0.
I thought I read that but I can not find, I had to be wrong .. in any case some we saw their phones have the new mention ThinQ at startup and new smart options for camera ia
Yeahn i know that, here in Europe V30 already received the update with both Oreo 8.0 and AI options, we'll see if the same goes for G6 or if we'll receive two different updates like korean's G6
