RUN_IN_BACKGROUND ignore

Does this command will be permanently ignore, or just temporary ?

Any reply will be gladly appreciated

Tried this in HTC U12+ but failed........


htc_exodugl:/ $ cmd appops set com.htc.weather RUN_IN_BACKGROUND ignore
Error: No UID for com.htc.weather in user 0



Does anyone know what does it mean ?

I freezed Google Duo apps, yet it popped up in the setting sync.

Seems it doesn't really completely freeze the apps
