Hi everybody!

I was looked at the supported devices for root 2 of my phones:
1) Xperia SL full model is LT26ii 6.2.B.0.211
2) Xperia P full model is LT 22i 6.1.1.B.1.54

I found the Xperia SL (LT26ii) - 6.2.B.0.211 on the "Devices Supported" sheet -> which it's great (V).

Have'nt found these specific build ver. of the P LT22i which i have: 6.1.1.B.1.54.

If spesific the 6.1.1.B.1.54 is not listed- that means i cannot use it to ROOT the "P" - am i right?

done added support... its same as the LT28h...

lets see there is a local prop hack which can help u root device using existing toolkit... let me check it out... will let u know soon...

Which means - it can't be rooted if it ICS.
If not - is there another "1 click script" like you developed?

Google search "E-Root"
Download it
Open it
It will automatically do a quick download on its own
Connect your phone vis usb cable
E-root will reconize it
Then press ROOT
let it do its magic

Make sure you have usb debugging on and allow unknown sources

I have attached a .zip file which includes the BUILD.PROP and KERNEL.SIN files from the Xperia Ion LT28i Rogers Canada jellybean firmware for rooting. @DooMLoRD pm me if you need anything else.

I had rooted my xps using your script, but unfortunately due to some problem i had to repair my OS using sony pc companion, now it looks like i have lost the binary files that will be installed after rooting.

Now, how can i install Superuser and titanium backup pro? It says binary files are missing.

Should i follow the root procedure again to install all binary files to run superuser and Titanium backup pro ?

Try Root with Restore..! It Should work with P.

Thought it may work for "P" with the DooMLoRD too.
Well, i guess that the "Root with Restore" will do the same too (without typing anything except of the "run".

I've rooted my LT26i 6.2.B.0.200 using this Easy Rooting Toolkit v17 and it works great. This is my first time ever to root my phone so one newbie question: in the instruction it says Busybox will be installed but after root I couldn't find the app, is it something I've done wrong?
