ok...now I have s-off: 1. Can I get the verizon update without causing issues? 2.Can I install any roms I want without boot.img or flash other zips without problems etc?

1) According to Dr_Drache ota's should be ok to take, but I personally dont recommend them, I would just flash the radio.img in the updates (thats all you really need from the ota's anyways)

2) Yes as long as its supported by the dev of that rom
