Yes. Which matches exactly with the question I was responding to ("how can you flash a radio with S-ON?").
Or HTCDev unlock, brick and downgrade to 1.12, and then run Lazy Panda
So then it would be relock and run the latest RUU to get the latest firmware updates. Then I'd still recommend downgrading HBOOT to 1.12, so that any future radio updates can be flashed through custom recovery. But this IS the "S-OFF" thread, after all

Something interesting I've been reading over in the HOX forums is that it seems when JB Sense 4.5 releases, there will likely be an HBOOT update REQUIRED. If you're not S-OFF, that could mean you won't be able to do it anymore (though it's possible that the new downgrading method will still work). Something to keep in mind for those vacillating on getting S-OFF now.
Just completed S=OFF after downgrading my hboot from 1.15 to 1.12
I thought I read somewhere that I had to flash a custom hboot after going S=off to allow commands via adb/fastboot? Is that accurate? I'm unable to locate it on the unlimited.io site ... if i succesfully get soff do i not need that step?
Yeah I saw that, but there are no hboots listed for the jewel (evo LTE) ... i see the others listed ... perhaps I'm just not seeing it?
Just click Fastboot flash enabled HBOOT and it will dl it for you then follow the instructions aboveYeah I saw that, but there are no hboots listed for the jewel (evo LTE) ... i see the others listed ... perhaps I'm just not seeing it?

I am heading to the zoo shortly to feed the animals, but in an abundance of caution, can someone confirm that I can just flash Fresh 5.1.1 and proceed with the instructions, if I have currently have the following:
Hboot 1.12 (downgraded from 1.15 last night)
MeanROM 5.0
Baseband 1.05.11.0606
Build number 2.13.651.1
I thought I had read about problems caused by downgrading firmware--will I not be doing that by flashing back to Fresh 5.1.1?

Flashing fresh will just downgrade your software to 1.13. Downgrading firmware WILL brick, though.
hurled from my AOKP'd Evo LTE. Enjoy.
Does this mean the end to the dev only message that's plastered over the splash?
