There was an HTC bmp thing on my comp, I removed that too, I removed everything HTC except the drivers. Not sure if that is the case with anyone having issues buts just a thought. I can confirm it worked with viper 4g running, first time like a charm.

Yes you must be unlocked first, unless you have the droid DNA, in the steps it says this:

"Your device must be HTCDEV unlocked unless using Moonshine with the HTC Droid DNA."

viper 4g rom taking to long to boot back up, cant get to the pull down screen in time to change the usb setting ><
I can confirm this works with viper, I did it without any probs. Maybe a fresh flash and another attempt...?

You are good now though after using a 2.0 USB right?
Correct. I thought I was using a 2.0 port to begin with but it turns out that it was a 3.0 port. The 2.0 port on my laptop wasn't working correctly so I ended up using a friend's laptop to get it done. I did not have the Android SDK installed.

Steps I took for a successful S-off:
Laptop running Windows
USB 2.0 port
HTC micro USB cable
HTC driver installed
Confirmed proper device settings and device connectivity via ADB & fastboot
Computer antivirus disabled

This was done on a rooted EVO LTE running MeanBean. Ran the program per the instructions (program was installed to the desktop instead of downloads). No issues during the 3 tests. During the "Moonshining" phase, once the phone booted to the ROM, I changed the connection type from Sync manager to disk drive, at which time the next Moonshining step would start. Moonshined roughly 4 times before the program completed.

Edit: This was for a fellow XDA'er, as my phone was already S-off via Lazy Panda:cool:

Answers to some of your Questions...

i just got my refurbished lte. so i wanted to s off it again

here is how you do it.
you will need the android sdk's
and the adb and fastboot drivers
you can download the HTC drivers also

first off you need to install the drivers
then you need to install the android SDK
after all that
then go ahead and unlock your bootloader and run the tool.
thats how it worked for me

Idk, i just followed all the instructions, and ran the tool and it just booted up like normal. Also remember when u wipe cache/delvik cache, your phone takes longer to bootup.

I keep getting ADB connection failed, but I know ADB works because I tried a few commands. I am running MeanBean rom and have removed HTC Sync from my computer. (although my phone defaults to HTC Sync Manager mode and not Disk Drive).

Any suggestions...
