Welcome to moonshine s-off for the HTC One VX -- Developed by beaups, Fuses and hyuh. Enjoy.

Supported firmwares:
  • 2.21.502.1

Important windows notes:

1) make sure htc sync is uninstalled
2) make sure adb and fastboot drivers are working
3) make sure htc sync is uninstalled
4) if you are having problems with fastboot, try a usb 2.0 port.
5) make sure htc sync is uninstalled
6) make sure other programs that interfere with adb and fastboot are uninstalled (PDANet, Kies, etc.)
7) make sure htc sync is uninstalled
8) if you use a third party firewall, be sure to grant access to distiller.exe as it checks for updates
9) MAKE SURE HTC SYNC IS UNINSTALLED
10) YOU MUST UNZIP THE ARCHIVE BEFORE RUNNING DISTILLER. DO NOT JUST TRY TO RUN IT FROM THE ARCHIVE.

Two things to note.

1. This is specifically for JB firmware. So if you have flashed RUU or my firmware package and you are S-ON this is the only option available to you. If you are on ICS still use Facepalm S-OFF.

2. No need to run this at all unless you are S-ON. No need to do it after firmware upgrade as you keep S-OFF.

Step by step. When you plug your phone in, what happens and what do you do?

1.- Turn on phone
2.- "HTC Quietly Brilliant" logo comes up
3.- Phone Reboots forever

1.- Turn phone with power + volumen -
2.- Turns to HBOOT
3.- Factory Reset
4.- HTC logo and phone reboots forever

1.- Powered off phone
2.- Insert USB cable
3.- HTC logo comes up and phone reboots forever
4.- No sound nor notification comes up on windows

1.- Turn phone with power + volumen -
2.- Turns to HBOOT
3.- Select FASTBOOT
4.- Connect USB cable
5.- Windows takes it as "Android 1.0" device
6.- Doesn't find drivers on Windows Update and it doesn't find anything whenever I choose the location for the drivers
7.- FASTBOOT never changes to FASTBOOT USB

Those are all the scenarios.

Right click one Android 1.0 on device manager and update drivers. Choose browse my computer for driver software. Then hit let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. Then hit have disk. find the inf file for the google drivers in the sdk. It should update now and should work

Yeah, no. It doesn't work. Neither that nor letting windows update look for the files nor letting the PC scan for files.

problem with this

it work till step
Test 3: Rebooting into bootloader (again)
Waiting for fastboot (6/120)
.............................................
and now ...... going on continuously from last one hour.

    Copuld anybody share your ADB and fastboot drivers? I can't find anything on google for this damn phone. >_<

    I already tried them, I also tried the ones that comes with PDANet and the HTC Sync program, no dice.

    Try using Linux. For example an Ubuntu live CD. ADB and Fastboot are installed by default in most newer versions of Ubuntu.
