I use HTC J butterfly. 1.29.970.1 version (DNA 2.06/2.05 same situation)
root method is temproot

Same here! Even after multiple reboots, it gave error code -6. Running Trickdroid 4.2.2 version 7.0

EDIT: Fixed the issue. run "chmod root:root revone"

Then the normal steps.

When I ran it I got S-off but it didn't reset the Tampered. I had to run the -t switch alone a second time for it to reset it

Ditto - flashed a second time with -t to finish up with the tamper reset.
