Condi's custom prerooted doubleFLASH R5A file includes R1A's recovery, not R5A's.
Thanks again for your answer.
I understand from the title of that thread it has R1A's recovery
But I would like to use FLASHER, because it seems easier to use.
I would like somebody to confirm that if I use FLASHER but do NOT update hidden.img, I have the same thing as with custom preROOTed???

Thank you

You can use whichever method you feel comfortable with. I'm just saying from my experiences with using both methods, I found using Condi's ALLinONE tool to install his custom prerooted doubleFLASH R5A file easier, faster, and trouble-free.

Answering your question about using Condi's FLASHER tool: do not update hidden.img. And yes, you will end up with the same install as with using Condi's ALLinONE tool to install his custom prerooted doubleFLASH R5A file, which is 4.0.3r5a double flashed with 4.0.3r1a's recovery.

Some considerations to the upgrade

Hello, and thanks a lot for this tool. I finally was able to upgrade my AT&T Tablet P to ICS. Just make sure the tablet is fully charged and plug AC adapter just in case. In case the tool hangs up once hidden.img has been flashed, remove the USB cable and battery, and restart the tablet.

If you can use this tool to update to r5a rooted with r1a recovery would it be possible to use it to go to 3.2 honeycomb with r1a recovery? :0

You can use AiO to do that. As long as you have the R1a recovery you can go back to honeycomb using Custom update menu in AiO (as far as I remember).... Or you can lower incremental and install 3.2.1R2 and root using old method (built in AiO)

Hi guys, I've run the flasher, i was in rooted ics (not latest version), i just runned flasher, flashed last r5a (without flashing hidden, maybe this is the big problem) and got bootloop on sony logo (it's a brick right?).

Now that I think, I'm not sure su was enabled due to f***in sky go root control. My tablet was rooted but it was a while I checked status.
Tryed to run and from condi all in one and received.
I'm trying to run adb from recovery (rev.29)(3a) without success, any idea?
Thank you in advice for the help.

EDIT
Ok, successfully connected to adb in recovery mode.

Here is the recovery log:

1) flash this fw via recovery,
2) then root via AiO,
3) and flash again with FLASHER :)

Btw, this firmware was one of the ones that were in my sd so far.. So:

1) Successfully installed this firmware!
2) Successfully rooted with AIO 5.3
3) Flashed with flasher (option 2, only wifi, flashed r1a hidden this time rev.30 3e recovery now) and... bootloop again :/

Tryng to install again the firmware at the point one i received some errors :S
