Nope, flash it with AiO - it will make everything as it should be

At the first post you have a BIG Red Letters (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35508380&postcount=1)

and again - warning - want to use this tool?
then DO NOT UPDATE to stock ota R5A!

There's no way you can root stock R5A, you should read more carefully to avoid this problems

You can downgrade to anything with the same recovery but if you have r5a recovery then you cant go down

I would suggest getting off the US version ASAP as there is no ICS for US Tab P. Alot of new ppl have messed up their tabs by not following instructions and not been able to get back??

First root using AiO
Change region using AiO
Install rescue backdoor using AiO
Update to ICS R1a, reroot, install back-door
Then you can safely use flasher but make sure you REPLACE the recovery (with flasher)

Just how I would do It (super safe)

"There is no need any more to have shell in recovery!"

My tablet S is soft-brick, can go to recovery, but can't mount anything such as SD card, can't use "shell" command.
Can I use this tool to recover my tablet ? Or if you know there is a tool like that, please show me.

Correct use latest version.

Should not matter, there are only 4 regions for Tablet P in AiO region changer.

Choose the "ICS" for your region NOT R5a. R1a was a typo.... select ICS but not Release5a. Install through recovery see my FAQ. Then re-root using AiO and backdoor again.

Should be able to as long as "rescue back-door" is installed, lowers incremental making it think that R3 is newer firmware. You will prob not be able to find an R3 though. I have all R4's available btw. What is your region...

Use All in One too by condi, see other main dev thread. In AiO Go to Tweak & mods > install rescue-backdoor

OK- I just used the Flasher tool v2.5 and It seemed like it worked ok, but.......

Initial Device: Xperia Tablet S, SGPT123US/S, 4.0.3 r3 rooted. see signature

At first junction I chose 1a: Sony Xperia Tablet S, 4.0.3 R6B wifi only
Next, the Flasher ran fine and downloaded 3 files, system.zip, hidden.zip, and datapp.zip
Next, inflated, pushed, etc....
At next junction I chose 1: to install the hidden.img

After that my tablet went into an 'optimizing app'??? routine and I think there were approximately 203 apps
Then the tablet went into a 'starting applications'??? routine that I let go for about an hour before I thought something ain't right
So I forced shutdown by holding power for about 10 seconds and then I rebooted the tablet.

My system tools indicates 4.0.3 release6b but I still get notification that 6b update is available.

I am also missing some stock apps although I haven't fully identified them yet....

One thing for sure is new, I now have access to the sdcard2 from my pc, so whoot whoot whoot.....thank you!!

Update:

I am missing all preinstalled apps according to my titanium backup....most I didn't want anyway.

What's best way to get them back? At least the ones I want? Do I just use my titanium backups?
