FIXED!!!! Not exactly sure exactly why it worked because I'm pretty sure I did this before....and even before I did a Factory Reset??
Well, I snooped around and after comparing ro.sony.build.id numbers I tried to reinstall the Walkman App from the vendor1 folder, only because it looked like the id numbers matched up, and that didnt work. So I tried to install it from the vendor0 folder and lo and behold it now works and has survived a shut down and restart so I think I'm good to go.....
As for why the vendor0 over the vendor1 folder location, I sure dont know, as that would be an answer someone above my pay grade would maybe know.
I think if anyone has missing apps after using Flasher tool, go to the vendor0 folder and install them from that location. If that doesn't work do a factory reset and dont worry because you dont lose root.
I think in my case I hosed things up by trying to restore using titanium backup....
Anyway, problem solved....thanks for all your help.
EDIT--20130402
In my case the walkman app still kept crashing and I kept reinstalling from vendor0 to fix it so obviously there is something more wrong than simply installing from that folder. So since I don't know that much about the file structure of this tablet and android I had a lot of catching up. First, I found that I had two different walkman apps installed or at least it appeared that way in dalvik cache so I deleted those two files and rebooted but walkman still crashed. So being a beginner I looked at all the places the SemcMusic.apk were found and noticed I had two different versions and that looked like the reason the app kept crashing after a reboot. I read somewhere on this site that the system folder version was possibly the one hosing things up...at least it looked like the older version, so I tried to delete the app from a root file manager with no luck. I tried two different file managers that both had superuser and root permission but the file couldn't be deleted. Then I tried deleting with titanium backup, uninstall, and it worked. After a reboot I checked all file locations and the dalvik and there was now only one version in each location. I now can assume the problem is truly solved. This time for sure.
I think the problem happened when I originally used my titanium backup of the walkman app to try to restore and then when that didn't work I did a factory reset. At that point I think is when I got the two versions of the app...one in the system folder and one in the vendor folder and also one in the vendor0 and vendor1 folders but the dalvik was associated with the system and vendor and they seemed to be two different versions so I think they conflicted.
Just trying to make sure this is documented in case someone else has this problem. Also if someone has some better insite to all this please explain. Thanks...
