an over the air flash on SD Card? if so yes.
Oh sorry, that is what you meant. Not sure how we can help then. If you don't have root and can't root then you can't change (missing) vendor.
Can you try to install from recovery again and then use adb pull /tmp/recovery.log so we can see the exact error you are getting.

It is a long shot, but worth it. :)

WOW~ It works!!!
I successfully update my AT&T Sony Table P (SGPT211US) through flasher v2.2
Lost my recovery tho.... now it's rev.36, I guess I can't use ADB shell...but still happy.
Thank you sooooo much for this wonderful tool!
Glad to hear. But flashing the recovery is optional!??

Edit: Sorry seems that is only available for Tablet S

Hi I use flasher to upgrade xperia tab s from r3 to r6b, I decide to not upgrade hidden.img and when i reboot I discovered I lost some vendor app (ir remote walkman music). Maybe i have to update also hidden? Or i have to factory reset?
if i factory reset i will lost root?

I try to factory reset but nothing, no oem apps, maybe it depends on hidden part of firmware..

Well, the flasher did ask me if I wanna flash recovery from this stock rom...
and I accidentally choose [1] .... [YES]
I think I could keep my old recovery if I choose [0]....which is rev.10

Anyway, AT&T never release an ICS update, so I am glad that I am able to have my table P update to ICS. :good:
So far it works like a charm.

Thanks again!
