You got Dropbox? You can share a file with creating a link. But I don't know if there are restrictions.I have never uploaded a file...![]()

I don't think this will work (condi correct me if I'm wrong). I believe that during this whole process the tool modifies the zip file to change its region code from US to match the region code our your partcular device so that it will be accepted. So, for example, if I were to upload my signed custom update zip I believe that it would only work for people with my region code (Canada).Since the zip-files created in this long process are all of equal size, are there any differences from user to user ?
I mean, does it make sense, when people upload their signed custom update zip ?

Are you asking whether condi's AiO tool will make the ICS update flashable on a rooted non-us region? If so then the answer is yes. I'm from Canada and using condi's tool I was able to flash ICS update.will the ics update be flashable on a rooted non-us region of the tablet?
Unpack all the directory from 7zip file and put it in root of disc C.And what else? Just root? Every time i try i just get red screen and couldnt find the right path!
Kernel version is not important any more. The exploit depends on write permissions to /log dir. Thats it. In ICS of course its also locked, and I have kernel #9, other users even lower. So version is not determinant any more.ok going to have to ask the noob question.
i see it says that damn bleeding kernel #10 i have is still unrootable. But....
my understanding (which is probably wrong) is that a firmware update would change the kernel? so am i missing something? or is it i cant change locale without root?
Yes. You can change region to US, make custom prerooted, and flash it.will the ics update be flashable on a rooted non-us region of the tablet?
for me, it's true !I don't think this will work (condi correct me if I'm wrong). ...I may be completely wrong.

Hey Condi,Condi you f*****g legend.
This ICS method fixed my inability to do any update ( a few pages back) and got me ICS on my UK s tablet too.
Man it's smoooooooooooooth
Massive thanks to you!
I'll be donating to you later for all your work![]()
If you had root to begin with, yesProbably i'm being noob, but wasn't suposed to have root and SU if i followed condi's tutorial?
Can you upload the rooted US firmware?I just tried this wonder-tool for the first time since I got root with it
I got a US machine and live in Sweden. Got the update message yesterday, so I downloaded it and then copied it to external sd-card.
Got crazy with the AiO tool and first I got the "red light" since I didn't had the backdooroh well, did that. Then when I was going to run the signed (update.zip) i couldn't find it (I knew I had copied it to external sd-card). I managed to copy it to a directory on the sd-card. Didn't work. So I moved it to root-dir, then it worked like a charm
So now I'm on 4.0.3 ICS. Only thing I've noticed so far is that "Android weather" doesn't seem to be working. Oh, what the h*ll. I'm on ICS
a million thanx Condi. The thank you button isn't big enough to express what your work means to me (us).
THANK YOU!
I had root on 3.2.1 and now ... i don't!If you had root to begin with, yes
If you didn't had root on your 3.2.1 (HC) then you won't have it on your ICS. Atleast not for now.
I had root with 3.2.1 (HC), and I have root with 4.0.3 (ICS).
I could try. what place do you recommend to do that? megaupload, rapidshare or ?Can you upload the rooted US firmware?
