Condi, first of all many thanks for this awesome tool!
I will try to be as detailed as possible in regards to the issues I am experiencing with version 2.0
I have the UK version of the Tablet S, running 3.2.1 (release2) with kernel 2.6.36.3
[email protected] #1 and BUILDNUMBER THMAS0042400 and BASEBAND R3B01.
I used the original root tool to successfully root my device -- in other words, not the version available in your device. The device was rooted successfully, and I can verify this as I can run su from adb, and also use applications that require root / su.
However, I have been having several problems with your tool. I am using version 2.0 and I realize you just updated this to 2.1 so I will give it another try, but unless issues have been resolved, I hope you can look into my problem.
I attempted several of the steps on your tool, some with success (partial or full) and some with complete failure.
Step 3 run without any problems -- the backdoor has been installed. So do Steps 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Parts in italics and red are OUTDATED.
Steps 8 and on however have many issues.
In particular, step 8 attempts to get the decrypted update.zip but I get some errors. In the end the file is pushed to my external sd card as expected and the device turns off. Once I go into recovery and try to follow the advice, the recovery update fails as expected. But then... nothing happens. The tool gets stuck with three dots ("...") waiting for some kind of input. If I manually restart the device, nothing happens and the tool keeps on waiting.
I suspect that due to the above, the tool permanently changed my region, as it never had the chance to change it back to UK.
Step 9 completely fails. It ask me for JAVA but I do have JAVA installed correctly.. yet nothing happens. Step 10 fails and I did not even try Step 11 for obvious reasons.
UPDATE: I can confirm I have solved the JAVA issue, but not the main source of my troubles. Steps 8 and 9 proceed normally, but after signing the update with the keys from Step 10 and trying Step 11 I still get an error:
"Prohibit update as a result of checking version or base sku"
Is this supposed to be correct procedure? If it is, then is this tool designed to not work or am I missing something?
Could you hopefully find any information about this to help me out? Please note that the details I gave you are after I tried these procedures so your tool may have altered some details if it is supposed to do so.
Also notice that I tried to root again using Step 1 but it failed (as expected?) since I have root already. I am reluctant to try to unroot and try again, as it may cause further issues.
I am also reluctant to reset the device or re-install update from scratch, because I am worried about the latest kernel update that blocks root, or of any potential boot loop (since my device is not yet fool-proof!)
I hope this post makes sense to you. I am an advanced user in general, but I lack adequate expertise and experience with Android development and ADB -- but I can follow instructions very well

I have a BSc degree in Computing btw, although I am not practising it.
