Can't downgrade once you've installed ICS. Don't hold your breath waiting for root either....dev interest is low, Sony won't play ball, and people are giving up.

I am having a really hard time trying to downgrade my rom to 3.2.1, I'm currently on Android 4.0.3, Band Version R2A07 Kernel Version 2.6.39.4 [email protected] #1

Every time I try to download a OTA - last one was:

4.0.3
info.update.sony.net/ST005/nbx02_017/contents/0001/signed-nbx02_017-ota-120510015.zip
Which didn't even work....?
I get an error :
Verifying Update Package...
Erohibit update as a result of checking version or base sku
Installation aborted.

Does anyone know what OTA to download for SGPT211CN/S ???

Cant root == cant downgrade

I had unrooted ICS too. I could downgrade through the tool by editing the region from Germany to US. And then flashing the 3.2.1 image. Then rooted ICS over 3.2.1 . I can't tell you step by step because I tried everything and suddenly it worked. I got the same error message all the time until I changed the region.
Probably it helps you.

You are flashing the wrong region. You are currently 4.0.3 correct?

USE:

Belgium

4.0.3 R1A WIFI ONLY
http://info.update.sony.net/ST003/nbx03_018/contents/0010/signed-nbx03_018-ota-120804002.zip

OR

4.0.3 R1A WIFI + 3G
http://info.update.sony.net/ST003/nbx03_019/contents/0004/signed-nbx03_019-ota-120803074.zip

You can then root (see general) and downgrade and start playing with framework again (if you must)

You have root??? Decrease incremental?? Right file???

Can you post your recovery.log here

After trying to flash file(s) and still in recovery use adb pull /tmp
