yeah, great job my friendyeah and i freaking compiled the binary! so proud!
just a small question, wasn't there a notice that there is also something "wrong" with the recovery, so that custom zip's cannot be flashed? just interested if this is solved by only rooting? (because i guess not) do i have to/can i reflash the recovery partition?
yeah, great job my friend
about recovery - unfortunatelly its one-way ticket - we can't downgrade recovery, where adb is disabled (no custom zip flashing), even with root.
you can look into flasher bat how hidden.img flashing works - it writes via dd hidden.img - but recovery can't be flashed directly. firstable it writes hidden.img, and after reboot, device verifies if the hidden.img is valid - also compares version if its newer than current, and finaly flashes. Thats why no downgrade is possible.is the recovery partition locked by the bootloader or why can't we just reflash from within running system?
sure, if you wantwoo hoo
just rooted my tablet P R5A
btw I realise superuser was installed, can I remove it and install the SuperSU instead?
