S10+ No Deep Sleep?

I have a S10+ Exynos variant which has higher battery drainage than the phones I had before. I made tests and errors on all possibilities, even tried disabling all relevant features that may cause wakelocks, but I couldn't put my phone into deep sleep. With connections off at night, my battery lose 1% per hour. This result is better than phones without deep sleep, but worse than any other phone, so I'm not sure whether it's actually in deep sleep or not. Maybe the existing apps don't show correctly with the new CPU? Can anyone with Snapdragon variant check this?
Am I the only one has this issue? Or does it even count as an issue?
Exynos or Snap? This could be the problem of exynos. I dont know if its anything related but the screenshots of exynos variants i have seen has high android system battery consumption.

Its staggering we're still getting 5 or 6h SOT with this. Imagine the battery WITH actual deep sleep.
Can you check if android system or system idle is using too much of your battery and what percentage? Also how long have you had your phone?
4 days. My battery yesterday was fantastic. 7h SOT. Today not so much. But it's still what I'd consider pretty good, and perhaps it's a testament to the sheer brute force of the S10 that it can get this amount of endurance even with the CPU never deep sleeping. I will look forward to when we can fix this.

Reboot and reset timer before go to sleep. Wake up in the next day and it turns out that the deep sleep is working for first 4 hours, then loose it again...
I lost my patience and factory reset. Deep sleep is now working perfectly. Slept for 6h, 94% deep sleep. Went to bed with 96% wake up with 93.
For a reference my friend's Exynos S10+ also has a similar issue. A little better, around 30% deep sleep, but not nearly where it should be either.
First two are my system after reset. Third is my friend's.

Yesterday I tried putting my phone into Airplane mode, disabling all connections and gestures... And it seems better. Now I've got 21 seconds deep sleep in almost 10 hour. LMAO
I had same problem. My device 's G975F ( Exynos Chipset ). I had flashed stock firmware. But still not improveAm I the only one has this issue? Or does it even count as an issue?
Fixed by adding specific app to Sleeping Apps in device care. I think Samsung should really think about adding these abnormal apps to blacklist automatically.
Can you share those rogue apps? Also have you tried factory resseting your phone? Someone just posted above doing this and his phone goes to deep sleep properly.
No, I did not, and I don't recommand you to do so since apprantly is personal application related. But I do recommand to use Brevent, to stop apps running in the background with just two simple tap, helps you to identify the rogue apps.
I see. Will definetly try resseting my phone once i got it if it has problems with deep sleep as @ab_cd posted the result seems better.

can you try and observe your battery performance this time? Also would be nice if you can post your battery performance if there are any changes.
same deep sleep issue but solved.
samsung galaxy s10 plus. Battery drain with cpu not going to deep sleep issue.
i had the same issue.
what i did was - settings - general - reset all the 3 options.
1. network reset
2.accessibility reset
3. reset settings.
problem solved.
no need for factory reset.
then redid all settings as per my liking
aod on, wifi, bt, location on.
using almost all useful features and battery life is awesome.
pls do try and let know if the issue resolved or not.

Sry cld nt post ss coz i did 2 or 3 top up charging in between.
Charging to 100 rit nw and will try not to charge until next cycle.

For all those who not getting good battery pls do try this.
It helped many people as reported by other members.
U dont have to factory reset ur phn.
Go to settings. General. The. U hv to do all 3 reset as follows
1. Reset accessibility
2. Reset nw settng
3. Reset all
Now redo all the settings as per ur liking like night mode
Adaptive battery
Aod etc
I was getting pathetic battery life.
I did this process.
Now with wifi on. Location on. 4g data on. Aod on.
Everything useful on
M gtng vry gd battery life..
24 hrs of standby with 6+ hrs sot. In a cycle.

Working for me.
Before i was losing like 15%+ overnight but i did a test yesterday and i lost only 2%.
Still having some issues with SOT, i only get 5 hours

Give ur phone lil bit of time it takes 3 days for pie os to adjust to apps u useIt worked for me too, however now it's Google Play Services sucking the battery ?*
As and when it learns that u dont use certain apps
Those apps will automatically put to sleep
But it ll take 3 to 4 days for pie os to learn.
At max a week will be perfect break in period
So leave the battery worries
And enjoy ur new s10
