Did not know how to link from another thread here so this is a copy paste of what i posted there:

so since uae gets updates at beginning of each month USUALLY, i passed by another samsung center yesterday where the technician had some knowledge about samsung, unlike the other branches i have been to. when i told him i was getting 4-5hrs sot, he was shocked, saying at least 8+ hours for the s10+. so he knew about the samsung switch bug and recommended using it only for contact restoration, but i got them on my gmail so didnt need to. he did a factory reset(different than the reset one we have from phone apparently) and since yesterday my phone has been going to deep sleep normally. 11hours showing via cpu spy. so if you have access to a samsung center and update will take some time to reach you, this might be a viable option

I've just had something peculiar happen. I factory reset my phone a week or so ago, and was getting significant deep sleep times. I then enabled "adaptive power saving" under power mode, and noticed my S10+ stopped going into deep sleep as easy. For all those not getting relative long deep figures, is you adaptive power saving turned on? (Possibility that this new incoming update has fixed it though)

is it that deep sleep issue but long cellular calls drain my battery : 10% for a 26mns call... last time I had 25% for a 1h45 ????

How do you force this deep sleep ?

If you haven't updated the latest firmware yet, then a restart after every voip call will fix it. 10% for a 26 minutes call is really heavy. It shouldn't be like that.

Did you try a voip call ? Because that's what triggers the deep sleep bug. You can verify it by making a WhatsApp or any app that supports voip calls. Then reset your CPU spy and put it down for 10 mins and then check it again.

same deep sleep issue but solved.

samsung galaxy s10 plus. Battery drain with cpu not going to deep sleep issue.

    i had the same issue.
what i did was - settings - general - reset all the 3 options.
    1. network reset
    2.accessibility reset
    3. reset settings.
    problem solved.
    no need for factory reset.

then redid all settings as per my liking
aod on, wifi, bt, location on.

using almost all useful features and battery life is awesome.

pls do try and let know if the issue resolved or not.

Guys which app CPU spy are you using? I see couple of them on Play Store, though none updated recently.

Yesterday I tried putting my phone into Airplane mode, disabling all connections and gestures... And it seems better. Now I've got 21 seconds deep sleep in almost 10 hour. LMAO

It worked for me too, however now it's Google Play Services sucking the battery ?*♂️
Give ur phone lil bit of time it takes 3 days for pie os to adjust to apps u use
As and when it learns that u dont use certain apps
Those apps will automatically put to sleep
But it ll take 3 to 4 days for pie os to learn.

At max a week will be perfect break in period

    So leave the battery worries
And enjoy ur new s10 :)
